When people are left alone, they get weird
Hi! it's us, we're here! but not for long…
We are not listening to anything. Oluwatosin is currently on an Okada while Adetomiwa is on her once-a-year skincare routine.
We miss you. We hope you miss us.
Is it safe to drink Fanta and Sprite in Lagos?
No. The answer is No.
Don't get poisoned. We need you.
Things to read while we’re away:
Irin Journal
Oluwatosin and Adetomiwa both have stories about Lagos in the latest (and first) issue of Irin Journal. Oluwatosin writes about the Lagos waterfront neighbourhood, Makoko, Adetomiwa writes about Owambe and the Lagos party culture. And ours are just two of many brilliant stories about Lagos and whatever the hell is going on in this city.

Erotic Africa: The Sex Anthology collects fiction centred on the erotic.
Erotic Africa: The Sex Anthology is the tenth anthology published online by Brittle Paper since 2016, and the fourth in 2018. The 23 works here are proof that sex is not such a taboo subject and can be dwelt upon in writing by Africans (maybe don’t tell your mum though). The stories, no two of which are alike, find different sides of millennial sex culture and romance, many of them climactic.
Things to do while we’re away - Watch stuff. #culture
Jesse: The Funeral That Never Ended
Tomorrow, our friend Eromo Egbejule (Oluwatosin’s friend. Adetomiwa wishes) is showing his first film about the Ogoni problem and it promises to be fantastic. Watch the trailer here.
